The Creativity Project {Art}

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.

Aristotle

Art is the stored honey of the human soul, gathered on wings of misery and travail.

Theodore Dreiser

“Creativity takes courage. ” ― Henri Matisse

The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.

Pablo Picasso

My art is very personal to me.

It feels like a risk every time I post images such as these.

It's easy to post what you think everyone wants to see, but that goes against what my soul is screaming out and begging me to create.

I'd like to thank my dear friend Dan from DTB Photography for helping make my vision come true in these images.

I knew what I wanted. I knew I needed help, and I knew he could help me pull it off.

Dan has his own vision and art that he captures so naturally. He has a love for New Jersey and it really shows in his images.

You can find his FB page HERE and his post for this month HERE.

The Creativity Project has truly been receiving some amazing submissions lately. I am really excited to see what {Art} you will all create & share on our FaceBook Page.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

While the majority of my images are black and white, this scene was a moment for me.

I saw it in black and white when I took it.
