Not to mention the market has cute wittle itty bitty kitties. And no Mom, I didn’t sneak one home. I promise! ; ) But only because Charlie would probably swallow them in one happy, sloppy lick.This is just because I love the way the wind was blowing in her hair. Too bad her eyes weren’t in focus… but her adorable lips are!

I don’t say that often.

We had beautiful weather all weekend. We started off with opening day at the Racetrack on Saturday. Finished the day off with dinner at McLoone’s in Asbury Park, and a little beach action.

Sunday we had breakfast at the beach with my parents and aunt, and then headed to opening day at the Red Bank Farmer’s Market. We enjoyed the rest of the day outside in the yard {sprinklers, football and s’mores were involved}.

Sure enough she was spot on.

Yesterday at her tennis lesson a little boy in her class repeatedly called out her name.
“Linhsey! Here’s ball Linhsey!”
“Linhsey! I have a ball for you Linhsey!”

L just kept on going right past him. When the lesson was over he called out ” Linhsey! I’m going to have a play date with you Linhsey!”

Me- Boy, it sounds like “A” really likes you.
L- He told me he LOVED me! Right in the middle of the game!
Me- So I guess he really DOES like you?!
L- Apparently it’s more than like! Apparently it’s LOVE! It’s embarrassing!

What’s not to love?

And slightly nervous.

Each month one of the photographers will pick a theme. Their first theme was ” The Girl____” . They each filled in the blank beautifully. I figured, yeah, I could do this.

When I found out the theme for this month my first reaction was RUN! I’m just being honest : )

The theme is “Double Exposure”.

What the heck is that?! Wait, I need to use Photoshop?!

Once I learned what it was, I had a vision of what I wanted to do. I knew the 2 images I wanted to use.

But how?

Oh Gene! Will you please help me?

Thanks to Gene, I got through the first month.

I love how it looks like she has her arm around herself, and how both L’s are gazing up at something.

I truly think that she thought she had a real Jeep in the garage!

She has a love for karate. They skipped her up 2 levels and now she is in with the higher ranking yellow belts and above. We just ordered her sparring gear. She takes it seriously. She loves drum lessons and the fact that the teacher now comes here for Gene and her. She does the same thing he does…she drums a beat on anything she can find, and it’s good. It’s the reason I started Gene with drum lessons when he was 6. She’s kicking butt in tennis lessons each Friday now too. She loves her video games just like her big bro and rarely touches a toy. She excels in everything she tries.

With all that toughness on the outside, she is still one of the most sensitive souls I have ever known. She loves….and she does it well. She worries about others and considers their feelings. Recently my aunt was in the hospital and we had to finally tell Linhsey that she was well and had come home. She was too worried and sad about it. She cried real tears of sadness the other night while watching Spongebob. Apparently SB’s snail, Gary, went to live with Patrick for a while and SB was upset. It broke. her. heart. As confident as she is, we have to reassure her about a lot. She is still upset that Mike and I went to Vegas last September, and we have to be very careful mentioning it so we don’t bring on the tears.
