The Creativity Project {One Year Anniversary}

It's hard to believe that the Creativity Project has been around for an entire year now. I can still remember the excitement I felt when Becky from Life With Kaishon asked me to join. In honor of our one year anniversary we each decided to revisit a past theme we did over the past 12 months so be sure to click through the entire circle to see each theme. We also asked one of our fans, Joseph Davis to do a guest post for the theme "Lines". Please click HERE and show him some love. He's very talented! Oh, did I mention we'll be having a giveaway? Someone will win a $25.00 Photojojo gift card! Click HERE to enter. My theme?

Summer.

It's hard to imagine summer here when we have had such a cold, snowy winter and spring in New Jersey, but I thought I would share the first two images from my original "Summer" post and then some images of what the Jersey Shore looks like now after Hurricane Sandy. I have a feeling summer will be forever changed around here.

The plan to rebuild the Jersey Shore is in full effect...

To see what theme Singwa from buckeroomama chose click HERE and then be sure to continue clicking through the rest of the circle. We love it when our fans participate on our Creativity Project Facebook Fan Page also!

Asbury Park in the Evening

Uncle Bill has a habit of hanging his kids upside down over water. He tried it out on L last night. She tried to get even by kicking some water at him.She decided she liked the chase though.I think this was her victory dance that she got away from him : )

Izzy & Ivy Designs

At the end of last summer Linhsey and I had the great pleasure of doing a photo shoot for an amazing designer. When Shasta from Izzy & Ivy Designs messaged me and asked me if Linhsey and I would like to do a shoot I was beyond thrilled to say the least. Take a look at these adorable designs!

The bustle in the back of this skirt is to die for!

Sunday Snapshot

This weekend was perfect. I don't say that often.

We had beautiful weather all weekend. We started off with opening day at the Racetrack on Saturday. Finished the day off with dinner at McLoone's in Asbury Park, and a little beach action.

Sunday we had breakfast at the beach with my parents and aunt, and then headed to opening day at the Red Bank Farmer's Market. We enjoyed the rest of the day outside in the yard {sprinklers, football and s'mores were involved}.

Sunrise

This morning when Charlie woke me up at the generous hour of 4:40am I felt more awake than usual. After all, she did give me an extra 25 minutes of sleep there.

Mike and I got up and headed to the beach for the sunrise.

I've lived within minutes, sometimes walking distance, of the beach my whole life.

Why haven't we done this sooner?!

This guy had the same idea.

But clearly his was more thought out.

He had a tripod with him. We didn't know what to expect. But then it happened.

The sun peaked up over the horizon. We couldn't help but to stare at its' beauty, but our eyes were paying for it.

As we drove off feeling somewhat different than when we arrived, we declared we would be doing this more often.

Enjoy your Saturday!
